Abstract

886,680. Tractor power-lifts. MASSEYFERGUSON Inc. April 21, 1958 [May 6, 1957], No. 6100/61. Divided out of 886,677. Class 79(1). In a tractor power-lift system according to the divided Specification 886,677 the linkage system is adapted for the attachment of a self supported earth-working means 217, Fig. 1. The normal power-lift to arm 77 is disabled by a spring 231 and an auxiliary hydraulic actuator 221 is coupled to the power-lift hydraulic system through pipes 226, 227 and operates to raise and lower the implement support wheel 218. The implement frame 216 is coupled to the draft control frame 22 by a single hook-and-eye joint 216A. The operations of position control and draft control are similar to that described for the normal power-lift system. Specifications 886,678 and 886,679 also are referred to.
