1,071,252. Tractor power lift mechanisms. MASSEY-FERGUSON (UNITED KINGDOM) Ltd. Feb. 7, 1964 [Feb. 8, 1963], No. 5335/63. Heading A1P. The upper link 13 of a tractor power lift mechanism is connected in parallel with a link42, 43 incorpotinga hydraulic ram 40, 41, to a rocking lever 19mounted on the tractor. The ram 40, 41 is subjected to the pressure arising in the main hydraulic actuator 11 whereby weight is transferred between a trailed implement and the tractor. It is stated that the normal operaion of draft control is enhanced since the forces involved in the system are not as great as they would be without the hydraulic link 42, 43.
