Class 100(4) In the manifolding machine described in Specification 848,797 in which a record and carbon strip assembly is fed to a positively rotated platen 10 by pin-wheels 11a, 12a and in which the carbon strip is released by a mechanism 100 for a much slower feed by the frictional grip thereon guide means 101, 103 are provided to support the assembly on both faces over substantially the whole distance between the feeding devices 11a, 12a and the platen 10. The guides 101, 103 are extensions of the lower and upper guides provided at the pin wheels while guides 108, 109 on the out feed side of the platen support only the edges of the stops, the upper guide 108 being hinged to allow their release.
