Abstract

885,174. Inductances. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO. Ltd. May 11, 1960 [May 11, 1959], No. 16042/59. Class 38 (2). Two sets of laminations 1, 2 forming a magnetic core are held with their outer limbs in butting relationship by rectangular straps 14, 15 which have their sides fitting in undercut slots and their cross-bars deformed by forcing them inwards at 13. The cross-bars, or feet W provided thereon, are forced into contact with the outer faces of the core. An air gap 5 is provided.
