Abstract

1514161 Inductors AJDOYLE 21 May 1975 [23 Feb 1974 26 June 1974] 8310/74 and 28265/74 Heading H1T An inductor has a pair of windings on magnetic core legs 1, 2 which are joined by yokes 3, 4 of smaller cross-section. The yokes and legs may be of the same or different ferrite material and may be held together by a spring clip 5, or by a plastic frame or encapsulation. A plastic spacer may be included to provide a non-magnetic gap in the core, and the core parts may be misaligned to increase the reluctance.
