A support for cartons passing through filling and closing apparatus and having devices for folding in the top closure mounted on it, has interchangeable pocket wall elements to enable different carton sizes to be handled. The device described is intended to accommodate "peak roof cartons 11 which are filled with liquid and have their gusseted closure flaps engaged by folding blades 6 pivoted on the support. The support comprises two parts 2, 3 mounted on the conveyer 1 for carrying them past filling and folding means: The part 3 is fixed to the conveyer but the part 2 is pivoted and may be swung away from the part 3 by means (not described) rotating a shaft 16. Cam means (not shown) contact rollers 8 to operate the folders. The parts 2, 3 each have a pin 9 on which are removeably held interchangeable wall elements 11, the elements forming a rectangular pocket with a base flange 10. The pins 9 fit in bores 13 in the elements. When it is desired to change the pocket size, the part 2 is swung away from the part 3 to facilitate access.
