Abstract

1,228,957. Dispensing closures; portable containers. CHEFARO MAATSCHAPPIJ N.V. 11 April, 1968 [13 April, 1967], No. 17652/68. Headings B8D and B8T. A dispensing device for tablets, pills, &ct. consists of a box 1 having an upper wall 3, provided with an aperture 4, and a lid 5, provided with an aperture 6, rotatably mounted on the box so that the apertures 4, 6 may be brought into and out of alignment, and a receiving tray 7 on the lid 5 so that when the apertures 4, 6 are in alignment tablets, pills &c. contained in the box may be tipped into the tray and those not used returned to the box. The receiving tray 7 may be mounted on the box 1 so that it does not rotate with the lid 5 or the lid 5 may be mounted to be rotatable within the box 1 by a projection through a slot in the side wall of the box, the receiving tray 7 being mounted on the box or mounted on the lid and projecting through the same slot. The bottom 2 of the box may be removable to facilitate filling of the box.
