Abstract

1315798 Packaging bags AKERLUND & RAUSING AB 14 Feb 1972 6817/72 Heading B8C Plastics carrier bags are packaged in an enclosure by folding and interleaving the bags, whereby when one bag is withdrawn through a slot in the enclosure, it automatically draws out through the slot the interleaved section of the next bag in readiness for withdrawal. As shown, carrier bags 7 are folded into three parts within a lidded carton 1 in which they are stacked such that a handle part 7a of one bag lies folded in between a bottom part 7c and a middle part 7b of an adjoining bag, and lies beneath a slot 6 which is formed in the lid of the carton after removal of a strip 5. The carton is supported on a stand 9-13 after removal of the strip 5, to facilitate withdrawal of the bags one at a time.
