865,946. Packaging; boxes. KOOPERATIVA FORBUNDET EKONOMISK FORENING. Nov. 13, 1958 [Dec. 4, 1957], No. 36538/58. Classes 18 and 94(1). A device for unwrapping and dispensing tablets &c. 11 packed by being enclosed in folded portion of a continuous strip 9 sealed together about them, comprises a container having an exit slot 3 and means to obstruct the exit of tablets so that the strip is peeled from them while ejecting them. Each fold may enclose a row of tablets. In one embodiment a member 6 forms an exit passage and retains the penultimate tablet or row of tablets so that the leading tablets are dispersed . The retaining action may be assisted by a spring tongue 13. A tongue may partly close the exit to prevent slipping back of the strip Figs. 3, 4 (not shown), or the strip may pass through an external guide member for the same purpose. In a further embodiment, Fig. 6 (not shown), opposed walls corresponding to wall 5 and that opposing it are only about two package thicknesses apart so that the mouth of the exit opening forms the necessary obstruction.
