Abstract

A bundle of welding rods 1 is packaged by applying end caps 2 and placing the whole in a sleeve 3 closed at one end 4, the sleeve then being heat- or vacuum-shrunk, and the end 5 heat-sealed. The end caps may be folded-up from blanks of chipboard. Fig. 2, or moulded from plastics, Fig. 4. The end caps may include a desiccant.
