Abstract
879,187. Transistor switching circuits. CREED & CO. Ltd. Dec. 10, 1959 [Nov. 27, 1958], No. 38302/58. Class 40(6) [Also in Group XVI] A positive potential 32 is connected to output lines 37 or 38 upon the opening or closing of contacts 20a. With contact 20a open, as shown, no potential from 3 is present and transistor 28 is non-conducting, but because of invertor 34, transistor 29 is conducting. Similarly because of flip-flop 36, transistor 30 is conducting and transistor 31 is not. When contacts 20a close transistor 28 conducts and there is a path through transistors 28 and 30 until the delay unit 35 causes transistor 30 to be non-conducting and so cuts off potential from line 37. When contacts 20a open a similar action occurs to present a potential to line 38.
