Abstract
960,920. Transistor switching circuits. BROWN, BOVERI & CO. Ltd. Nov. 9, 1961 [Nov. 11, 1960], No. 40204/61. Heading H3T. In a two-state switching circuit comprising a pair of transistors 1, 2 an output is taken from each collector to an output stage comprising a third transistor 3. As described, Fig. 2, the transistors 1, 2 are reciprocally coupled and the collector of transistor 1 and the collector of transistor 2 are connected to the base and emitter respectively of transistor 3. Alternatively, Fig. 3 (not shown), the emitter of transistor 3 is connected to the collector of transistor 1 and its base to the collector of transistor 2. As the input signal level at the base of transistor 1 changes, the circuit switches from one state to the other to control relay 4.
