[Also in Group XVI] A device for printing on sheet material 2 by applying ink or dye 28 through a flat gauge screen 33 or stencil, has a magnet 6 arranged to move to and fro under the sheet 2 and a scraper roller 27 of magnetic material bearing on the upper surface of the screen or stencil, the roller 27 being attracted by the magnet so as to move therewith. The magnet 6 may be a permanent or an electromagnet, and in the form of a roller or a member with a flat upper side.
