Abstract

877,454. Moulds for footwear. LEMM, H., [trading as ROMIKA KOMM.-GES. LEMM & CO.]. Oct. 30, 1957 [Nov. 9, 1956], No. 33903/57. Addition to 839,366. Class 87(2). A mould for moulding a preformed sole and a filling of e.g. sponge rubber on to a shoe upper comprises two parts 12, 13 which each have integral side and bottom members. The parts are independently and adjustably heated by heated bars 16, they are mounted in boxes 10, 11 by asbestos filler 14 and blocks 15, and located by dowels. The parts are opened by moving a lever which causes them to move along parallel guides. The last may be swung about a horizontal axis to allow the upper to be drawn over the last. Specification 839,367 also is referred to.
