Abstract

The invention comprises salt-like complexes of the formula <FORM:0877106/IV (b)/1> (wherein B is the cation of a base, n is the valency of B, R is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl, alkenyl or aralkyl radical which may be substituted by halogen atoms or cyano or nitro groups and R1 has the same values as R except hydrogen), and their preparation by reacting the appropriate nitro-thiazolyl-urea with a base. Suitable bases are alkali metal hydroxides and alkoxides, piperazine, morpholine and mono- and di-ethanolamines. Examples are given. The products are useful as veterinary medicines.
