876,138. Multiple fastenings. RASMUSSEN, V. B. K., [trading as RASMUSSEN & CO. V. KANN.]. Oct. 30, 1959 [Oct. 30, 1958], No. 36952/59. Class 44. A locking device for windows, particularly for tilting windows, comprises a locking bar system located within a window and extending along two adjoining window sides 11, 12 and having a corner element 18 of flexible strip material guided in a smooth arc around the corner between said sides; the locking bar system being provided with a handle (not shown) (which actuates an operating device 16) for initiating such a motion of displacement as to bring locking bolts comprised by the locking bar system into and out of locking engagement. As shown a flexible member 17 is of the same material as the corner element 18 and is attached by rivets 20 or other means to a rigid rod 19 formed with a bolt 15 at one end. Bolt 14 may be formed from or mounted on the flexible member 17. In alternative forms the flexible member 17 may extend along both sides 11, 12 and have short rod 19 attached to it, or the bolt 15 may be formed on a portion of member 17 which is cut in the form of a tongue.
