Abstract

1,129,996. Clamps. DAVID ROBERTS & CO. (ENGS.) Ltd. 20 Dec., 1965 [19 Dec., 1964], No. 51726/64. Addition to 1,030,843. Heading E2B. The scaffold coupling of the parent specification is modified in that the base of the body 4 is substantially straight and flat through both the medial portion 7 and the lateral projections 8, 9 and that at least the forked portion in the projection 8 on the body 4 is formed by an upstanding outwardly directed hook-like extensions 10 on the longitudinal edges of that projection. As shown, the extensions 10 are so formed as to give the base portion locally a substantially C-shaped section, the outer portions of the extensions being provided with aligned slots 12 for the T-head 23 of the bolt 21. Two such clamps are rigidly secured together at an angle one to the other.
