Abstract

1,005,866. Section rail &c. connections; spring clips. GRECON SYSTEMS Ltd. Sept. 21, 1961 [Aug. 16, 1960], No. 28416/60. Headings E1V and E2B. A coupling 8 for joining noggin bars to section rails has resilient curved arms 10 forming channel shaped grips for the bulbous web portions 7, 4 of the noggin bars and the section rails respectively. The coupling shown is formed from a cruciform-shaped metal or plastics blank with slots following the lines of the re-entrant sides, and extending in both directions from the re-entrant corners. Another embodiment Figs. 4-6, (not shown) is formed from blanks with diagonal slots extending from the re-entrant corners.
