Abstract

1,067,023. Suspended ceilings. E. DALBY. Dec. 18, 1964 [April 9, 1964], No. 14815/64. Heading E1W. The invention described and claimed in Specification 986,887 is modified by the provision of a resilient, interlocking connection between the rails 15 and support members 13, constituted by undercut notches 16 in either the support members 13, or as shown, in the rails 15 and by resilient flanges 13a constituting a ridge formation on the other of these members, as shown, on the support members 13. Stiffener bars 20 may be provided which extend across and are firmly attached to the rails 15. The rails 15 and support members 13 may be formed by sections connected in end-to-end relationship by couplings 18, 17 respectively.
