Abstract

875,864. Two-part couplings. LIGHT & POWER ACCESSORIES CO. Ltd., and LOTT, F. J. Jan. 27, 1960 [March 16, 1959], No. 8981/59. Class 38 (1). An electric plug has fuse clips 4, 7 connected respectively to a line pin 2 and a line terminal 9 secured to a common insulating member 6 to constitute a unit which is insertable or removable from a rubber plug body 1. The clip 4 may have a downwardly projecting lip 13 to prevent turning movement and is secured to the member 6 and pin 2 by a spigot 3 on the pin. Another spigot 10 on the line terminal 9 is burred over to attach the member 6 and terminal 9 to a lug 8 on the clip 7. The member 6 may be reinforced by longitudinal ribbing or corrugations or may be bowed laterally.
