An aerial torpedo is provided with a detachable wing unit 1À0 and a fin unit 1À2 which include propulsion means 1 3, such as a liquid fuel rocket motor, a braking device 1À4 such as a flap or rocket, an aneroid 1À5, steering means 1À6, a range finder 1À7, a gyroscope 1À8, and a device 1À9 for sensing the height above water. The torpedo 2À0 contains, in addition to the explosive charge, a driving motor 2À1, a homing device 2À2, a depth control device 2À3, a programme control 2À4, a motor control device 2À5 a gyroscope 2À6, proximity and impact fuzes 2À7, 2À8 respectively, servomotors 2À9, controlling rudders 2À13, 2À15, a suspension device 2À11, a battery 2À12 and a combustion chamber 2À14.
