Abstract
874,257. Stand-by supply arrangements. CONTROLLIX CORPORATION. Nov. 17, 1958, No. 36901/58. Drawings to Specification. Class 38 (4). [Also in Group XXXVII] An arrangement for automatically connecting an emergency supply on failure of a normal supply and reconnecting the lathe when it is restored comprises a motor-driven mechanism (see Group XXXVII) which opens one switch and closes another on such failure. Restoration of the supply causes the motor to rotate in its opposite direction to restore the switches to their original portions, the motor being automatically de-energized by operation of a further switch after the transfer has taken place.
