Abstract

<PICT:0873152/III/1> A spraying booth comprises a cabinet 1 open for access thereinto by an operator, a high-pressure centrifugal fan 4 having its outlet 6 extending through a wall of the cabinet, and a filter 8 fitted or located in the cabinet at the intake side of the fan. The filter may be of flat form and be slidable into position between guides S through a slot 10 in the cabinet, or it may be introduced into the front of the cabinet and located against shoulders, flanges or lugs. The filter may be expendable, incorporating cotton, rayon or fibreglass wadding, or of a type which can be cleaned, e.g. embodying wire mesh.
