Abstract

1,230,322. Spray producers. SHOWA DENCO K.K. and SANKO KAGAKU KOGYO K.K. 28 Feb., 1969 [28 Feb., 1968], No. 10986/ 69. Heading B2F. [Also in Divisions A5, A6 and F1] Apparatus for forming aerosols of vaporisable substances comprises a heatable container 1 for the substance and a pipe 2 for the passage of a stream of gas or vapour having an upwardly directed nozzle 21 positioned up the bottom 13 of the container. The container may be provided with a cover 11 having an outlet 12 for the stream of gas or vapour and entrained substance. The nozzle may terminate in an enclosure within the container which extends from the pipe to the outlet in the cover, the enclosure having at least one aperture adjacent the nozzle for the passage of vapour from the container into the enclosure. The apparatus may be used to disperse insecticides and fungicides.
