A dental syring comprises two integrallyconnected chambers 10, 11, one chamber 10 being connected to a supply of compressed-air and containing a treating liquid and the other chamber 11 being connected to a source of suction and having a depending chamber 28 for collecting liquid and other matter withdrawn from a tooth, each chamber having a curved tube 24, 25 for respectively supplying and withdrawing liquid from a tooth. An opening 26 for introducing treating liquid to the first chamber 10 may be closed with a finger so that compressed-air forces liquid through the corresponding tube 24 to the tooth. The collecting chamber 28 which serves as a handle has an emptying aperture with a removable cap 29. The curved tubes 24, 25 converge and are parallel at their free ends near which they are welded together.
