Abstract

869,811. Dispensing lamp filament leads. GENERAL -ELECTRIC CO. Ltd. March. 16, 1960 [March 5, 1959], No. 7686/59. Addition to 835,921. Class 78 (1). The hopper in the parent Specification is modified in that the filament leads are ejected from the drum into groove 36 of transfer device 30 by fingers 19, which fingers are disposed to lie in annular channels 8 formed in. the drum. The hopper 1 has prongs 4 for the support of the leaks, the prongs lying in the channels 8 to permit the discharge of the leads and having a height adjustable at 3. The hopper is removable from its framework 26 so that it may be filled by the operator, is made transparent for ease of observation, and includes a weight (not shown) which slides in slots 22, 23 for weighting the leads.
