872,191. Gyratory crushers. MACLEOD, L. R. Feb. 8, 1960 [Feb. 18, 1959], No. 4344/60. Class 59 In a gyratory crusher in which a segment 13 of the shell 10 is lined with a plurality of circumferential tiers 16, 17, 18 of concaves and in which the concaves 26 of at least the tier 16 each have a lip portion 36 to provide a surface against which a prising force may be exerted to remove the concave, a ring member 42 is secured to, or formed integrally with, a segment 14 of the shell and each lip portion 36 is provided with spaced integral ribs 40 which abut the ring member 42 and define one or more recesses to receive a prising tool 38. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 771,166.
