828,519. Ammunition ANSTALT FUR DIE ENTWICKLUNG VON ERFINDUNGEN UND GEWERBLICHEN ANWENDUNGEN ENERGA. May 9, 1958 [May 13, 1957], No. 14860/58. Class 9(1) A fixed round of ammunition comprising a projectile 1 with tail fins 3 in a cartridge case 5 of brass or aluminium alloy has in its base a steel propellant chamber 6 with perforations 7 opening into the spaces between the fins. The propellant is enclosed in a polyethylene envelope (not shown). Chamber 6 may be screwed into the base of the cartridge and forms a support for the base of the projectile, while the fins,, which are articulated in a support 4, extend to the bottom of the annular space between the case 5 and the chamber 6. To assemble the projectile and case with the fins between the groups of openings 7, the case 5 has three indents 12 to correspond with recesses in the projectile.
