Abstract

871,587. Indicating liquid levels. NAPIER & SON Ltd., D. Aug. 28, 1959 [Aug. 29, 1958], No. 27887/58. Addition to 847,521. Class 123(1) [Also in Groups XII, XXVI, XXIX and XXXIII] A tank 10 for liquid propellant mounted on a helicopter rotor is provided with a liquid level indicator comprising a fixed tube 18 housing a vertically slidable rod 19 formed at its upper end with a latch 22 to hold it down and at its lower end with an armature which co-operates with an annular permanent magnet 21 secured to the inner periphery of an annular float 20 surrounding and free to slide over tube 18.
