Abstract
870,002. Button setting apparatus. KEM BUTTON CORPORATION. Sept. 25, 1959. [Dec. 19, 1958], No. 32610/59. Class 43 [Also in Group XXX] Buttons are fed from hopper 10 by the scoops 31 of rotating disc 30 and fall into trough 14 which discharges them to a sewing machine via shoot 15. Trough 14 is provided with a side member 46. Member 46 is pivoted at 47 and is provided with abutment 57 which is engaged by abutment 60 on rotating disc 30 so that the side member oscillates and shakes the buttons down into the shoot 15. Screw 44 adjusts the pivotal position of the side member.
