[Also in Group XXVI] A pump impeller of natural or synthetic rubber with a metal annular reinforcement 13c, Fig. 5, is a force fit over grooves or ribs 23 on a shaft and is retained thereon by a circlip 24. In the pump impeller shown in Fig. 6, slits 28 in the metal reinforcement 13d permit the impeller to be mounted in an annular groove 29 by being sprung over a shoulder 30.
