Abstract

868,501. Endless belt conveyers. BRITISH WEDGE WIRE CO. Ltd. June 10, 1959 [June 25, 1958], No. 20307/58. Class 78 (1). An endless conveyer belt 3 of either wire mesh or flexible material, which is arranged to traverse a path which is arcuate in the plane of the belt, has its inner edge guided on both upper and lower runs by antifriction means comprising an endless strip 13 adjacent each run and abutting the edge, each strip being supported on a series of rollers 12 running in tracks 10. A lining 14 of antifriction material is arranged in the lower portion of each track on which the ends of the rollers slide. Specification 855,070 is referred to.
