Abstract

1393079 Magnetic endless belt conveyers H SPODIG 13 Feb 1974 [13 Feb 1973] 06440/74 Heading B8A [Also in Division F2] A magnetic endless-belt conveyer has rolls 7 over which the belt passes, each of which comprises a roll portion formed of a soft iron disc 1, and permanent magnet discs 2, 3, the roll portion being flanked on each side by soft iron discs 4, 5. The conveyer may have two portions (10) (11) (Fig. 3, not shown), disposed at an angle to one another, there being a roll of the above described construction disposed at each end of the conveyer, and at the apex of the two portions (10) (11).
