Abstract

867,346. Pipe connectors. GENEVAC Ltd. Feb. 22, 1960 [April 18, 1959], No. 13302/59. Class 99(1). An anti-vibration connector for, for example a pumping system, comprises a moulded, flexible sleeve 14 and means to prevent radial deformation of the sleeve, the latter having at each end thereof a circumferential recess 16 in which may be located securing means 17 whereby the sleeve is held in position on the ends of pipes 12, 13. As shown, the rubber sleeve is provided with circumferential or spiral ribs 18, and is strengthened by a helical spring 15 which may be secured to the sleeve during moulding of the sleeve.
