866,504. Cleaning pipes. SEPARATOR A.B. Oct. 28, 1959 [Dec. 12, 1958], No. 36552/59. Class 99(2). The milk pipeline in a milking plant is cleaned by a liquid which is sucked or pumped under pressure intermittently into the milk pipeline from a tank in predetermined quantities which are smaller than the capacity of the pipeline. The tank containing solid bodies which float in the cleaning liquid and are automatically entrained with the liquid and returned therewith to the tank in a circuit. Sucking of the liquid may be done by a vacuum pipe through which the liquid may be passed. The bodies are of elastically deformable material shaped as balls or longish bodies which may be provided with brushes.
