Apparatus for cleaning a plurality of beer engines 22 and the conduits 26 thereof by pumping cleansing fluid into the engines and conduits and subsequently flushing the latter with water under pressure, comprises a pair of units each consisting of a chamber having a plurality of pipes 19, one for each beer engine or conduit, radiating therefrom and an additional pipe 23 opposite to the radiating pipes, one of the units (an inlet unit) having unions on its radiating pipes to permit them each to be connected to a conduit and means on its additional pipe permitting the latter to be connected to a source of water under pressure so as to act as an inlet pipe and the other unit (an outlet unit) having its radiating pipes each adapted to be a push fit on a beer engine nozzle 21, the additional pipe of this unit constituting an outlet pipe. In Fig. 2 (not shown), there are foam pipes 19 leading from the unit 11. The pipes are of pliable or resilient transparent plastic material such as polythene. Unused pipes 19 may be blanked off.
