Classes 44 and 65(2). A hinge for a folding table top comprises angular hinge plates the portions 6, 7, of which adjacent the hinge pin 5 form an angle with the portions 3, 4, secured to the table top sections 1, 2, a latch pivotally mounted on the portion 3 to swing in a plane parallel to the section 1 being adapted to engage the portion 7 to interlock the hinge. Preferably the latch consists of a flat arm having two notches in one edge to receive both the portions 6, 7.
