862,754. Resilient mountings. ELECTROLUX Ltd. Nov. 29, 1957 [Dec. 13, 1956], No. 37112/59. Divided out of 862,753. Class 108(3). [Also in Group XXXV] A vacuum-cleaner motor-fan unit 17 is supported by a resilient ring 45 located on the motor body by an inwardly directed rim 46 engaging a groove on the motor body, and gripped in circular seatings 41, 42 in the top of the cleaner housing and on a longitudinal partition 13 respectively. The resilient ring 45 comprises inner and outer rubber rings 47, 48 sealed by a joining diaphragm 49 and embracing a vibration damping coil spring 54 of greater stiffness than the rings, the whole being secured by peripheral metal straps 43, 44. Relative rotation is prevented by pins 49A extending radially from the ring 48 and seated on surfaces 52, 53 formed on the edges of upper and lower portions 11, 12 of the casing.
