(Also in Group X] In a machine for delivering constructional materials or mixtures, including powdered materials or mixes. or fluid materials, and comprising at least one supply chamber from which the material is fed to a feeder wheel 3 rotatable about a vertical axis and for delivery to a remote point, the wheel is provided with pockets or chambers 3a, the walls of which all lie on vertical planes, which move between the outlet of an air flow duct and an opening for the delivered material, the latter being blown vertically out of the pockets or chambers with the co-operation of the free fall of the material from the pockets. As shown, the machine includes upper and lower material-supply chambers 1, 2 provided with sealing-valves, and the wheel 3 is covered by a semi-spherical hood 13 and driven by worm-gearing 4 from a compressed air motor. Each pocket 3a of the wheel, upon rotation of the latter, passes over the inlet of a delivery nozzle 5 and below the exit opening of an air blower nozzle 6. A plate 7 between the pockets 3a and the chamber 2 partially covers off the periphery of the wheel from the chamber and is arranged on both sides of the air inlet pipe, and an annular plate 8 having a delivery aperture 8a is provided between the pockets and the bottom of the wheel casing 3b<SP>1</SP>, that plate being interchangeable with a plate of different thickness to reduce the volume of the wheel and to enable the machine to be used for smaller delivery rates. Pins 12a, 12b on the wheel move in different concentric paths to keep material which passes behind the wheel in continuous movement and to prevent a retarding action on the wheel; the latter is supported on sealing-rings 9, 10.
