Abstract

858,931. Idler rollers for belt conveyers. NORDSTROMS LINBANOR A.B. May 21, 1959, No. 17263/59. Class 78 (1). Each roller 1 of an idler roller assembly is provided with a lubricant tube 2 secured to the end walls of the roller which walls rotate on ball-bearings 3 in mountings 4 supported on brackets 7, Fig. 1, the ends of the lubricant tube extending through and beyond the bearings into corresponding recesses in the mountings. Lubricant from a nipple 6 passes from one tube 2 to the adjacent tube through a resilient sealing device 5 and lubricates the bearings 3 and labyrinth rings 4a.
