857,975. Holders for thermionic valves. ELCO CORPORATION. Nov. 27, 1958, No. 38288/58. Class 38(1) A valve-holder assembly for mounting a valve parallel to a printed circuit panel comprises a U-shaped bracket B on either side of the base of which are mounted insulating boards C1, C2, the valve-holder A being mounted above the board Cl. The contacts of the holder have terminal strips 1. . . 9 extending from the base of the holder, some of which extend laterally of the holder between the base thereof and the board C1 and pass through a row of holes in a terminal board E mounted between the limbs 18, 20 of the bracket at right angles to the axis of the holder. The remaining terminal strips pass through holes in the boards C1, C2 and the bracket base and then extend laterally of the holder to a second row of holes in the terminal board. The limbs 18, 20 have extensions 21 forming mounting lugs for the assembly and which, together with the ends of the terminal strips are passed through holes in the printed circuit panel and bent over, the strips being soldered to the circuit conductors.
