Abstract

1315693 Two-part couplings AMP Inc 20 April 1971 [7 May 1970] 21995/70 Heading H2E The insulating housing of a printed circuit board surface connector has passageways 1 for contacts 15, the contacts being enclosed by a flap 5 hinged at 6 to the housing. Spring arms 16 are struck from the contacts 15 and protrude through slits 4 to contact the board, and lugs 13 pass through holes in the board to secure the housing to it. A latching wall 8 engages a shoulder 9 and pegs 10 hold the contacts in the passageways.
