Class 100(2) In a rotary printing machine, inking- apparatus comprises a transfer roller 4 of rubber, gelatine or like resilient material for transferring ink from a fountain roller to a metal inking drum 1 and thence to a resilient forme roller 3 and the printing-cylinder 2, the roller 3 receiving ink also from an additional metal transfer roller 5 contacting the roller 4.
