Classes 52(1), 52(2) and 52(3) [Also in Groups XV, XXIII and XXXI] A rehabilitation device comprises upper and lower frame members 4 and 5 connected by vertical members 3 forming a substantially U-shaped frame which is mounted on wheels 2 or the like and from whose back supporting members 9, 10, 11 extend forwardly and upwardly to support a seat 6 thereon. The height of seat 6 is adjustable by a screw jack 14 and a backrest 7 is adjustable by a pin and slot connection operated by knob 16. Brakes 12 are provided on the rear wheels. A bar 19 may be attached across the ends of member 4 and a foot rest 23 provided in the lower part of the frame so that the apparatus can be used as a wheel chair.
