Abstract
856,603. Electric motors. AVOG ELECTROUND FEINMECHANIK G.m.b.H. June 15, 1959 [June 25, 1958], No. 20514/59. Class 35. To prevent the transmission of noise from a geared electric motor, e.g. for a windscreen wiper, all moving parts are mounted on a base plate 5 which is supported in a non-metallic, e.g. rubber or plastic, ring 6, and the output shaft 3 drives a crank shaft 4 through a member 18 of similar material. The motor has a twopart casing 9, 10, the two halves of which meet at 11 to grip the ring 6 and are held together by a stirrup 15. The resilient drive member 18 is engaged by claws 19, 20 attached to the respective shafts, their teeth being offset.
