Abstract

A centrifugal rotor is mounted on a flexible, vertical shaft which is driven by a motor having elastic supports, the distance between the plane of said supports and the base of said shaft being about twice the length of said shaft. The electric motor is mounted on three symmetrically-arranged rubber cushions. The shaft may be made of steel. Dimensions are given in the Specification.
