Abstract

The invention comprises compounds of the formula: <FORM:0855770/IV(b)/1> (wherein R is alkyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, R1 is hydrogen, halogen, dihalogen, hydroxyl, alkyl, alkoxy, alkanoyloxy or alkanoylamino, of at most 6 carbon atoms, R11 and R111 are alkyl radicals each containing at most 6 carbon atoms or together with the adjacent nitrogen atom form the residue of a saturated heterocyclic amine, and n is 2 or 3) and acid-addition salts thereof; and the preparation thereof by acylation, with an acylating agent such as an acyl anhydride or an acyl halide containing the group RCO, of the appropriate N-substituted aniline. The reactants may, for example, be heated on a steam bath and the desired products distilled off.
