855,100. Boxes ; making boxes. HAGGLUND & SONER A.B. Dec. 27, 1957 [Dec. 27, 1956], No. 40190/57. Class 18. [Also in Group XXXVI] A box is produced by extrusion moulding a bar one longitudinal lateral edge of which is profiled to present a projection 16 and the other a recess 14, which are mutually interlocking, cutting the bar into lengths 10, 26 corresponding with the height of the box walls, assembling the cut pieces by interlocking their profiled edges to form a closed frame, see Fig. 3, and fastening thereto base and cover plates. Alternatively, the bars may have both their edges profiled to form recesses only, an auxiliary member being introduced therein as interlocking agent. Holes 20 bored in reinforcements 18 provided on the side wall portions 10 to secure the base and cover plates, while the corner portions 26 have holes 28 for fastening the box to a foundation. A modification comprises a frame composed of two side members only forming the sides and corners of the box.
