768,716. Door canopies. BAINBRIDGE BROS (ENGINEERS), LTD. July 21, 1955 [Aug. 3, 1954; Nov. 5, 1954; Dec. 8, 1954], Nos. 22458/54, 32053/54 and 35514/54. Class 20(4) A canopy for erection over a door comprises a reinforced sheet metal box 8 supported by a metal frame, 3, 4 built into the wall over the door and having projecting parts 5 on the outside of the wall which enter the box through openings in the side thereof. The portions of the bars 5 within the cavity between the walls 1, 2 are recessed as at 9 and provided with a ridge 10 that assists condensed moisture to drip off without penetrating to the inner wall. A wedge arangement may be provided for securing the supports in the wall.
