833,274. Door canopies. COWBURN, J. Oct. 24, 1958 [Oct. 31, 1957], No. 33965/57. Class 20(4) A door canopy comprises a timber structure covered with metal and having metal bearers 15 projecting to engage sockets 24 in a cavity wall 23. An insert portion 29 is formed in the bearers to engage with the socket under the influence of inserted packing 30. The sockets 24 may be supplied welded to a plate 26 which acts as a wall tie. Top and bottom metal pressings 17, 19 are riveted together to form the metal cladding.
